New Studios

Wed Jan 9, 2008, 2:41 PM
The artists group I belong to, - Luneside Studios of Lancaster (the original one, not the one in USA), - have moved into new premises across the road from the castle. Our frontage faces onto John o' Gaunt's Gateway.
We are eleven artists in all, some are painters, one is a photographer and others are printmakers. There is a whole mass of equipment and artworks and furniture to sort out. Walls need to be painted and as with any move, a thousand and one other little jobs keep cropping up. Not much opportunity for making new art just yet.
But Luneside is entering into an exciting new phase having perforce left the original premises down at St. George's Quay because of ongoing development work.
